Governor Lamlas officially opens the late Alwani Stadium in Mansoura

The Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, along with the President of the Ahly Aden Club and the Director of the Mansoura Directorate, Ahmed Ali Al-Daoudi, this morning inaugurated the official opening of the stadium of the late Ali Ahmed Al-Alwani in Mansoura, after completing the furnishing of its floor with artificial turf and some rehabilitation work for the stadium.< /p>
During the inauguration, the Minister of State blessed the Governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas; The completion of the rehabilitation and turfing of the stadium and its appearance in an ideal way to be the first stadium to be rehabilitated since its first turfing prior to the 20th Gulf of Aden. He expressed his happiness at being present again at the opening of the stadium in its new look after he had the honor of attending the first opening of the stadium in 2010.
Lamlas praised the great efforts made by the club’s management, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ahmed Ali Al-Daoudi, and the qualitative shift witnessed by the Ahly Aden Club in terms of interest in rehabilitating and constructing the club’s infrastructure and facilities, which will inevitably benefit the club’s members.
The club’s president, General Director of Mansoura Directorate, Ahmed Ali Al-Daoudi, confirmed; The club's management pays great attention to infrastructure, facilities, and the implementation of strategic and investment projects, indicating that the next stage will witness the implementation and opening of a number of projects, including a closed gym and investment shops that will help the club improve its resources and become self-sufficient.
Al-Daoudi pointed out that the project comes within the interests of the leadership of the local authority in Mansoura District, with youth and athletes in adopting their causes and meeting their ambitions, based on the keenness to qualify sports facilities to carry out their activities, highlight their creativity, develop their abilities, and hone their skills.
The project to rehabilitate the late Alwani Stadium at Al-Ahly Aden Club included turfing its floor in the “first” and “second” phases, at a total cost amounting to “369” million and “889” thousand and “130” riyals, in addition to some work, including completing the work for the stands. The side facing the main platform, rehabilitating the stadium’s lighting, and installing surveillance cameras for the stadium, with funding from the local authority in the district.
The inauguration was attended by the Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the capital, Aden, Captain Wijdan Al-Shazly, the Director of the Traffic Police in Aden Governorate, Brigadier General Adnan Qala, and a number of officials in the local authority.
