The inspection teams transported and destroyed the confiscated quantities in the Bir Naama landfill, and in this regard, Brother Mahmoud Al-Maflahi, Deputy Head of the Environmental Health Department, Mansoura Directorate, explained that the inspection teams, after confiscating the materials that were not suitable for human consumption, either because of the expiration date or because of a storage question, and the teams Inspection by completing inventory procedures and transporting them according to legal regulations to the landfill for destruction in the presence of those concerned.
Al-Muflahi indicated that more than 5 tons of canned tomatoes, quantities of expired milk, and various food items were destroyed, some due to poor storage and others due to expiration.
