A responsible government source stated that quantities of fuel for the contracted power stations will arrive in the coming days, successively, to ensure the stability of electricity services until next January.

The source explained, in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the quantities of fuel will arrive successively in a way that ensures overcoming the difficulties of irregular quantities during the past two weeks... stressing that the Prime Minister is following up with the competent authorities at the central and local levels on an ongoing basis to find sustainable solutions to secure Fuel needs and their regularity and implementing reforms in the electricity sector urgently.

The source sent a message of reassurance to citizens in the capital, Aden, and the liberated governorates, that the government, with the follow-up of the Presidential Leadership Council, is making every effort and harnessing all capabilities to provide services, especially electricity, and that it is working with the leadership of the local authorities to find urgent solutions to them, in parallel with identifying mechanisms.
