Violent explosions recently rocked central and southern Sanaa, following air strikes targeting sites belonging to the Houthi militia. Local sources reported that the raids, which Israel is believed to be behind, targeted Sanaa International Airport and Al-Dailami Air Base near the airport.
Sources also reported that warplanes, believed to be Israeli, targeted Houthi sites in Hodeidah Governorate.
These attacks come at a sensitive time after Israel vowed to respond to the attacks launched by the Houthi militia using missiles and drones on Tel Aviv earlier.
Preliminary analyzes indicate that these raids come within the framework of an Israeli response to the Houthi escalation in the region, which raised tensions in the Red Sea and raised international concern, while Israel has not yet issued any official statement about these attacks.
