The United Nations International Organization for Migration announced the displacement of more than 55,000 Yemenis since the beginning of this year.
The organization said in a report issued today, Tuesday, that its Displacement Tracking Matrix monitored the displacement of 9,273 families, representing 55,638 individuals, during the period from January 1 to November 4, 2023. They were displaced at least once.
In its weekly report on displacement operations, the United Nations monitored the displacement of 15 families, representing 90 individuals, during the period from last October 29 and November 4 of this year. They were displaced from Hodeidah, Amran, Taiz, and Al-Dhalea, and settled in Hodeidah, Ma’rib, and Taiz, respectively.
