The Israeli army detains the director and staff of Kamal Adwan Hospital

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, affiliated with the Hamas movement, announced on Saturday that the Israeli army detained the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip and members of his staff, and took them for investigation.
The ministry said in a statement that “the occupation forces are taking dozens of Kamal Adwan Hospital staff, including the hospital director, Dr. Hossam Abu Safiya, to an investigation center,” the day after the army confirmed the start of a military operation in its vicinity. The World Health Organization confirmed on Friday that this operation led to the hospital, the last major health facility in the northern Gaza Strip, being out of service.
