The Governor of Shabwa, Awad Ibn al-Wazir, praised the scientific and professional history of the Dr. Muqalam Higher Institute for Health Sciences in the governorate, and its efforts to advance the health sector and graduate a number of highly scientifically qualified cadres.

This came during his inspection visit to the institute and his meeting with the institute’s dean, Belaid Al-Bohar, to discuss the progress of the educational process at the institute and the opening of new scientific courses.

The governor, Ibn al-Wazir, affirmed the local authority’s keenness to provide all aspects of support and rehabilitate the institute’s infrastructure, directing the preparation of studies related to this.

For his part, the Dean of the Institute reviewed the conditions of the Institute and the preparations to celebrate the graduation of a new batch of one hundred and eighty male and female graduates from the Institute in a number of professional medical specialties that meet the needs of public and private health facilities in the governorate.
