Shabwa teachers organize a protest to demand the payment of their late salaries

Teachers in the Rawda Directorate in Shabwa Governorate organized a peaceful protest in front of the Education Office building in the Rawda Directorate under the slogan “We want our rights” to demand the payment of their late salaries for several months.
The teachers expressed their dissatisfaction and anger at the injustice they suffered, calling on the local authority in the governorate to meet the demands that fall on them and to put pressure on the government to pay their dues.
They also called on the local authority in the governorate to provide a monthly incentive to basic and contract teachers, similar to the liberated governorates.
They stressed the necessity of working to release the wage structure, annual bonuses, the nature of work, and the disbursement of a cost of living allowance.
They also called for enhancing the salaries of contract teachers, as well as paying the salaries of male and female teachers regularly.
