In a humanitarian gesture, a member of the Presidential Command Council, Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, directed the evacuation of 17 Yemeni fishermen who had been stranded in Sudan for several months.

Sources close to the National Resistance confirmed that the fishermen, most of whom returned to Hodeidah Governorate, were detained in Sudan and could not return to their country due to difficult financial circumstances.

Based on the directives of Brigadier General Tariq Saleh, coordination was made with Yemen Airways to provide free travel tickets to the fishermen, and they were transported to Aden, where their families and relatives will receive them.

This humanitarian step by Brigadier General Tariq Saleh comes within the framework of his concern for the suffering of Yemeni citizens everywhere, and in confirmation of his role in providing support and assistance to them.
