An official source in the Ministry of Finance confirmed the start of the process of disbursing last October’s salaries, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, to all local and central authority employees, retirees, and displaced people.

He explained in a press statement that the disbursement will include the salaries of the local authorities for 96 offices, distributed among the governorates of Aden, 11 offices, Hadramaut Al-Sahel, 20 offices, Hadramaut Al-Wadi, 21 offices, Taiz, 19 offices, Al-Dhalea, 19 offices, Shabwa, 3 offices, Abyan, two offices, and Lahj. One office, and the drainage will include 40 central units.

The source attributed the reason for the delay in disbursing salaries to the authorities’ failure to provide the data required of them for the month of October, and the failure to submit the results of salary disbursement for last September.

The source urged all central and local government agencies to quickly complete their procedures so that the Ministry can expedite disbursement.
