The Houthi militia announced today, Wednesday, the downing of an American MQ_9 aircraft in the airspace of Ma’rib Governorate.
The militias said, in a statement, that the air defenses were able to shoot down an American MQ_9 aircraft while it was carrying out hostile missions in the airspace of Ma’rib Governorate.
The statement indicated that the operation to shoot down the plane was carried out with a locally made surface-to-air missile, pointing out that it was the second plane within 72 hours and the 14th during what the militias call “the battle of the promised conquest and holy jihad.”
