Shabwa Defense Forces launch the 2025 training year with a solemn military parade

In a majestic military scene that reflects the highest levels of readiness and discipline, the Shabwa Defense Forces this morning launched the training year for the year 2025 AD through a military parade that is the first of its kind. This came under the patronage of the Governor of Shabwa, Chairman of the Security Committee, Awad Muhammad bin Al-Wazir, and in the presence of an elite group of military and civilian leaders, led by the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Abd Rabbuh Hashla Nasser, the Commander of the Shabwa Defense Forces, Brigadier General Ali Saleh Al-Kulaibi, Brigadier General Wajdi Baoum, Staff of the Shabwa Defense Forces, and the Director of the Shabwa Defense Forces. At the beginning of the ceremony, Brigadier General Wajdi Baoum delivered a welcoming speech in which he expressed his pride in the achievements achieved by the Shabwa Defense Forces, recalling with reverence and loyalty the souls of the righteous martyrs, led by the heroic martyr Colonel Ahmed Al-Sulaimani.
General Baoum praised the major role played by the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in supporting efforts to defend Shabwa, praising the efforts of Governor Sheikh Awad bin Al-Wazir in enhancing security and stability in the governorate.
In his speech, he also reviewed the outstanding achievements achieved by the Shabwa Defense Forces, stressing that they have become a role model for sacrifice and determination to confront the Houthi militia and terrorist groups.
In turn, the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Abd Rabbuh Hashala Nasser, delivered a speech in which he conveyed the congratulations and blessings of the Governor of Shabwa, expressing his pride in the fighting spirit and high discipline that characterize the Shabwa Defense Forces. He stressed that the local authority will continue to provide support and care to develop these forces and enhance their capabilities.
Brigadier Ali Saleh Al-Kulaibi, Commander of the Shabwa Defense Forces, reviewed the achievements of the past three years, noting the vital role that the forces played in achieving security and development with direct support from the Arab Coalition.
The event was marked by an exceptional military display in which symbolic units from various formations of the Shabwa Defense Forces participated. Modern military mechanisms and equipment were also displayed, reflecting high readiness.
The ceremony also witnessed the graduation of the seventh batch, which bore the name of the martyr, Colonel Ahmed Mohsen Al-Sulaimani, in honor of his memory.
The event concluded amid widespread praise from the audience for the professional level of organization and military display, which sent a strong message confirming the readiness of the Shabwa Defense Forces to deal with various challenges, achieve security, and protect development achievements in the governorate.
