Engineer Raafat Al-Thaqali, Governor of the Socotra Archipelago, yesterday, Tuesday, launched the distribution of school furniture, office supplies, and school bags, as part of a project to enroll girls who have dropped out of education, with funding from the King Salman Relief Center.
Al-Thaqali appreciated the Kingdom’s humanitarian efforts through the King Salman Relief Center to support the education sector through a package of different interventions aimed at providing better educational opportunities, stressing the provision of all facilities to donors to make their development and relief interventions successful.
The project, implemented by ISESCO, includes providing school furniture and office equipment to three schools on the island, in addition to distributing school bags to 1,656 female students.
