Yemenia Airlines issues a new clarification regarding Syrians traveling to Egypt

Yemenia Airlines issued an important statement this evening regarding instructions related to the travel of Syrian citizens to the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The statement that the company addressed to its agents stated:
Based on instructions issued by the Egyptian authorities, Syrian passengers are prohibited from entering Cairo except with a prior visa, with an exception for holders of non-tourist temporary residency. A fine will also be imposed on the airline if it violates these instructions.
The company called on its agents to adhere to the new instructions and not to reserve tickets or issue them to Syrian travelers who do not have the required visas, to avoid financial fines or any other legal procedures.
This clarification came within the framework of the company’s keenness to implement the laws and regulations regulating the travel process and to ensure that any problems that may arise from violating them are avoided.
