Politician and journalist Salah Al-Saqladi said that stopping oil exports is not an acceptable excuse for not paying salaries.
Al-Saqladi pointed out in a post on his Facebook page entitled “Expose them wherever you educate them” that halting oil exports is never an acceptable excuse for not paying salaries. He stated that during the era of the Bin Daghr and Bahah governments, and until the beginning of the Maeen government, the export of oil was proceeding smoothly, however, more than a full year’s salary was stolen from the salaries of the army, security, and some civil facilities, and those salaries are still stolen today.
Al-Saqladi confirmed that the value of those salaries compared to other currencies and prices years ago was much greater than their current value, describing those responsible for this as “thieves with a rank of shit.”
