The "Kitab" area in Yarim District in Ibb Governorate witnessed violent clashes that resulted in the killing of three people, including two Houthi militia militants and a third citizen.

According to local sources, the incident occurred when an armed group affiliated with the Houthi militia attempted to storm the house of citizen Taher Al-Othmani, against the backdrop of a previous case dating back years.

The sources indicated that the Othmani citizen strongly resisted the attempt to storm his house, as he exchanged fire with the Houthi militants, which led to the killing of two of them and the injury of others.

The Ottoman citizen fled after the clashes, while the situation remains tense in the region, amid intense security deployment by the Houthi militia.
