The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported, on Friday, that American officials recently held talks with their counterparts in Israel, and informed them that the United States intends to intensify its strikes in Yemen before the end of President Joe Biden’s administration’s term on January 20.

According to the report, Washington is planning to target missile-related sites in Yemen, given their repeated launches towards Israel.

An informed source stated that President Biden gave the US military “broad authorization” to carry out these strikes.

The Broadcasting Corporation reported that the US administration asked Israel to review the targets it is bombing in Yemen as part of the battle against the Houthi group, to ensure that they are military and not civilian.
