Al-Mukalla.. Launching a course to raise the capabilities of cybersecurity specialists in the Electronic Extortion Unit

The Peace and Construction Foundation launched, this morning in the city of Mukalla, the training course to raise the capabilities of cybersecurity specialists in the electronic extortion unit to effectively assist extortion victims in order to achieve justice in their cases, with funding from the Civic Organization.
The Executive Director of the “Peace and Construction” Foundation, Ms. Sumaya Al-Sibai, explained that the course comes within the efforts made to enhance digital security and confront the growing phenomenon of electronic blackmail, adding that the training program includes advanced topics on electronic investigation mechanisms, psychological and legal support for victims, and international best practices. In confronting these crimes.
Al-Sibai praised the fruitful cooperation with the Civic Organization in financing this initiative, stressing that such training contributes to building a safe digital society and strengthens individuals’ confidence in the authorities concerned with combating cybercrime.
