Al-Kathiri and Al-Khobaji inaugurate the medical training year 2025 at Aboud Military Hospital in Aden

Professor Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council and President of the National Assembly, today, Sunday, inaugurated the medical training year 2025 for the Medical Services Department of the Armed Forces and Southern Security, at Aboud Military Hospital in the capital, Aden.
The inauguration came in the presence of Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, Chairman of the Political Commission, Major General Saleh Ali Hassan, Chief of Joint Operations, and Major General Mohsen Askar, Advisor to President Commander Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi for Military Affairs, along with a number of security and military leaders.
Al-Kathiri delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings of President Commander Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, stressing that the great successes achieved in the field of medical services for the armed forces and southern security are a reason for pride. He praised the efforts made to care for the wounded and injured of the armed forces, stressing that this care represents a basic principle in the policy of the Transitional Council.
For his part, Brigadier General Dr. Arif Al-Daari, Director of the Military Medical Services Department, reviewed the achievements of the past year and plans for the new year, noting that Aboud Military Hospital will be developed to be the nucleus of an integrated military medical city.
The ceremony included the showing of a documentary film narrating the stages of rehabilitation of the hospital, which was destroyed after the 1994 war. The attendees also inspected the hospital departments and checked on the conditions of the wounded receiving treatment.
This inauguration comes within the framework of efforts aimed at strengthening military medical services and building the institutions of the southern state on solid foundations.
