The head of the executive body of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Lahj Governorate, Waddah Al-Halmi, discussed the electricity situation in the Yahr District during his meeting this Wednesday morning with the Deputy Director General of Lahj District Electricity, Engineer Bassam Amer.

During the meeting, which was attended by transitional CEO Yahr Ghaleb Al-Harbi, director of electricity in the district, Gibran Haitham, and members of the coordination committee between the local authority and the transitional council, Al-Halmi stressed the need for everyone to assume their responsibilities in preserving vital and service projects to ensure their sustainability and for citizens to benefit from them. The most important of which are electricity projects.

The meeting discussed ways to address the problems facing the Yahr District’s electricity, which have recently worsened as a result of a number of problems and difficulties that encountered the Electricity Administration in the District and led to a complete blackout of electricity to the District.
