Security forces in Taiz announced the arrest of the wanted person in the incident of burning a house rented from him, confirming that they are completing their procedures to refer him to the competent authorities.

A citizen and three of his children suffered burns after a homeowner set fire to a rented apartment in the Old Airport area, west of Taiz, according to local sources.

She explained that the incident came against the backdrop of a dispute between the citizen Mufid Al-Hasami and the owner of the apartment, who demanded that he pay the rent in Saudi riyals or vacate the apartment, which was rejected.

She indicated that the tenant, Al-Hussami, had been threatened several times by the owner of the house to burn down the apartment.
