The Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education, and Vocational Training announced today the start of the differentiation examination process to coordinate cultural exchange grants for the academic year 2025-2026, for the bachelor’s level, in all governorates of the Republic of Yemen, with the deadline for application being Saturday, corresponding to January 11, 2025.

The Ministry explained that applications are available to high school graduates from the scientific and English sections for the academic years 2022-2023 and 2023-2024, provided that the high school average is not less than 90%.
The Ministry confirmed that the differentiation exams will be conducted on Saturday, January 18, 2025 in the approved exam centers, where applicants must choose the center in which they wish to take the exam during the registration process.
She indicated that students in Socotra Governorate will be differentiated according to their high school grades only, without the need to take the differentiation exam, with the need to register through the electronic coordination portal without paying fees.
Details of the differentiation exam
The Ministry stated that the differentiation examination will be based on multiple-choice questions, and will be corrected electronically. The duration of the exam is two hours, and begins at nine in the morning, with the need to arrive one hour before the scheduled time to complete the preparation procedures.
She added that no student will be allowed to take the exam unless he submits the original high school document, ID card or passport, and a receipt for payment of the coordination fees.
Registration steps
The Ministry has determined the registration steps for the differentiation exam, which are as follows:
1. Pay the coordination fee amounting to 15,000 Yemeni riyals to the Ministry’s account at Al-Kuraimi Bank, and keep the payment notice.
2. Enter the coordination portal via the link http://scholarship.mohe-ye.com and complete the registration process.
3. Upload the required documents, including a personal photo, high school certificate, payment voucher, and a copy of the ID card or passport.
Method of calculating the final average
The Ministry stated that the student’s final average will be calculated based on 30% of the high school average and 70% of the comparison exam result.
