Al-Fadhli Building, located in the Rosemit neighborhood in the capital, Aden (also known as the White Building), is in danger of collapsing at any moment, as the building suffers from a large crack in its facade.
More than forty people live in the building, including children and the elderly, distributed over eight apartments, which puts them in a constant state of concern about their safety.
A group of engineers went to the site to assess the condition of the building and submit a report on the current situation, but residents are still waiting for actual measures from the local authorities to address this problem.
Despite the reports submitted to the local authority, no steps were taken to find appropriate solutions.
In this context, researcher Bilal Ghulam pointed out in a post on Facebook that there are other buildings in Crater that collapsed on the heads of their residents without the local authority repairing them, which raises fears that Al-Fadhli Building will face the same fate if steps are not taken. Urgent.
Ghulam called on the local authorities to move quickly to ensure the safety of the families living in this building that is threatened with collapse, stressing the importance of addressing this issue before things get worse.
