On Wednesday, drones affiliated with the terrorist Al-Qaeda organization and the terrorist Houthi group bombed a site belonging to the 2nd Support and Support Brigade in the Al-Baqira area in Wadi Omran, northeast of Mudia in Abyan Governorate.

In clarification and details of the news, a military source in the brigade reported that the drones targeted a military kit belonging to the 2nd Support and Support Brigade. The targeting led to the kit’s explosion, and the attack did not cause any human damage.

 He added that this is not the first time that these terrorist groups have targeted the positions of the southern armed forces, and the attacks have been repeated with drones within the framework of joint coordination and alliance between the Houthi group and Al-Qaeda against our forces in the “Sharq Arrows” theater of operations.

In the same context, the leadership and forces of the Second Support and Support Brigade stressed that these attacks will not deter them from continuing the battle against terrorism, stressing their determination and insistence on purging the southern land of all remnants of evil and darkness, and continuing the firm path towards protecting the security and stability of the south.
