Customs officers at Aden Free Zone Customs were able to seize 62 radio frequency wireless devices (walkie-talkies) that were hidden inside a commercial shipment containing household utensils. 

The Director General of Free Zone Customs stated that the seizure was carried out in accordance with the Customs Law and the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Mr. Salem Bin Brik, and the Head of the Customs Authority, Mr. Abdul Hakim Al-Qubati.

He also indicated that Customs pays great attention to combating smuggling in all its forms, and will not tolerate the entry of any goods that affect national security or public health or require prior permits from the relevant authorities.
