An informed source revealed that the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Technical Education, and Vocational Training, Abd Rabbuh Ghanem Al-Mahwali, submitted an official complaint to His Excellency the Public Prosecutor, Judge Qaher Mustafa, against the backdrop of a recent defamation and abuse campaign targeting him through social media.
The source explained that Al-Muhwali chose to resort to the judiciary as a legal step aimed at confronting these irresponsible practices, stressing that this reflects his commitment to the ethics of the statesman and his respect for the rule of law.
The source indicated that the Deputy Minister called, through his complaint, for an investigation into this case and for those involved in publishing the offensive allegations to be held accountable, expressing his full confidence in the integrity of the Yemeni judiciary and its ability to do it justice.
The source confirmed that this step comes within the framework of strengthening the culture of resorting to the law instead of being drawn into methods of reciprocal response or media escalation.
