Aden Free Zone Customs, in cooperation with the Free Zone Police, was able to seize 62 walkie-talkie-type wireless communications devices that operate on radio frequencies, after discovering that they were smuggled within the contents of a container that was not acknowledged in the official documents submitted to customs.
Customs reported that the container, which was registered in customs declaration No. (423) under the name of the merchant Awad Muhammad Al-Sunaidi, and the customs declaration process was handled by the customs official, Salah Abdel-Qawi Jubran, appeared to contain household utensils and cups, while wireless devices were hidden inside. The incident was documented in an official record by the competent authorities.
It is worth noting that customs and free zone police had previously seized other smuggling operations by the same merchant and customs broker, which included 20 electric bicycles in addition to a small gasoline-powered car with a 200cc engine and four wheels that were not approved and declared in the documents either.
p>These efforts come within the framework of strengthening customs control and preventing any smuggling attempts that undermine security or violate customs laws, according to the Time website.
