The Security Belt forces at the central Ar point in Yafaa were able to seize large quantities of medicines and toxic pesticides, which were carefully hidden inside a tank designated for transporting crude oil.
According to an operational source in the Yafi belt, personnel at the Ar point were able to stop the smuggled shipment after a precise intelligence operation and a high sense of security.
The source added that the smugglers hid the medicines and pesticides inside the tank by welding it from the inside, which required the use of electric cutting (abrasive) tools to extract them.
The source confirmed that this qualitative operation sends a strong message to everyone who tempts himself to smuggle any type of prohibited materials, stressing that the Security Belt forces in Yafaa will remain watchful eyes on the border, and will not hesitate to thwart any smuggling attempts, no matter how complex their methods.
This security achievement comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts of the Security Belt Forces to combat smuggling and protect society from dangerous and prohibited materials.
