The Southern Transitional Council Finance is making arrangements for the financial statements of members of the southern armed forces, with the aim of paying them two months’ salary at the rate of 1,000 Saudi riyals, meaning 500 Saudi riyals per month.

According to informed sources, the Finance Ministry will begin disbursing nine and ten monthly salaries to all soldiers of the Southern Armed Forces in the southern governorates, starting in the coming days.

The sources explained that the financial disbursement process will be based on new financial statements, prepared based on accurate data from military units in the various southern governorates.

The sources indicated that the Finance Ministry will give priority in disbursing salaries to the soldiers who underwent the rehabilitation and training program in Hadramaut and Abyan, as 1,000 riyals will be disbursed to them per month.

As for soldiers who have not undergone training and rehabilitation courses, 500 riyals will be disbursed to them each month, and 1,000 riyals will be disbursed to them after they enter the courses.

This step comes within the framework of the efforts made by the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, to improve the conditions of members of the southern armed forces and provide them with a decent means of living.
