The Masam demining project in Yemen destroyed 1,525 pieces of war remnants and explosive materials in the Doufs area of Abyan Governorate, south of Yemen.

Indicating that the mines and war remnants that were destroyed represented a major threat to the lives of Yemenis and caused the disruption of agricultural activities, and posed a danger to roads and local markets..
He pointed out that the destruction operation was carried out in a safe location in the Wadi Doufs area, and in accordance with international standards for the disposal of war waste, explaining that the location was carefully chosen to ensure that the operation did not affect population centers or civilian property.
