The Public Funds Court in Aden continued to consider the cases brought before it and quickly decide on them, as it issued today several judicial rulings in various sessions chaired by Judge Dr. Sami Ahmed Baabad, President of the Court, in the presence of the member of the Public Prosecution, Judge Yousef Al-Quaiti, and the session’s secretaries, Hanaa Dabban. And Nazira Abdul Hakim.
⬛️ Criminal Case No. 67 of 1446 AH
1. The operative part of the ruling:
Accepting the defense submitted by the accused in form and rejecting it in substance due to its lack of merit and validity according to the merits.
(A.S.C.) was convicted of sabotaging an electrical facility, and punished with a fine of five million Yemeni riyals.
Obligating the convict to pay the costs of repairing the damaged generator in the amount of 9,400 US dollars to the General Electricity Corporation.
Forcing the convict to pay litigation costs amounting to 500,000 Yemeni riyals.
Returning seized items not related to the case to their owners.
⬛️ Criminal Case No. 59 of 1446 AH

Accepting the defense presented by the first defendant in form and rejecting it in substance.
(M.A.A.A.) was convicted of one year's imprisonment, and (A.S.M.A.) was convicted of six months' imprisonment.
Forcing the convicts to pay 340,000 Yemeni riyals, the value of the seized money.
Return the seized items to the General Electricity Corporation, including expedited entry into force.
Obligating those convicted to pay litigation fees worth 100,000 Yemeni riyals.

(S.A.S.Z.) was convicted of theft and punished with six months imprisonment.
