An expanded meeting of the military and security leaders in the districts of Tur Al-Baha, Al-Mudaraba and Ras Al-Ara, headed by the Governor of Lahj and Chairman of the Governorate’s Security Committee, Major General Ahmed Abdullah Turki, approved the continuation of the joint security campaign carried out by the Giants forces, the National Shield and other units.

During the meeting held at the home of Brigadier General Hamdi Shukri, Commander of the 2nd Giants Brigade, Commander of the Security Campaign in Sabiha, it was attended by the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Zaouri, the Deputy Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Mr. Abd Rabbuh Ghanem Al-Mahwali, and the Head of the First Division, Shield of the Nation. Brigadier General Ali Al-Shammi, Brigadier General Hamdi Shukri reviewed the results of the campaign and what it achieved during its mission, the deployment plan to combat smuggling, the manifestations of fragmentation and banditry, the arrest of wanted persons, and the re-establishment of security and stability throughout the two directorates, in addition to the most important difficulties and obstacles that accompanied the campaign.

The meeting also discussed activating the role of the Revenges and Lands Committees emanating from the general meeting of the people of Al-Subaiha at the home of the former Minister of Defense, Major General Mahmoud Ahmed Salem Al-Subaihi, last July.

Governor Turki stressed the importance of activating the committees emerging from the general “Azafa” meeting, explaining that achieving the most important first step in restoring security and stability in the districts of Tur Al-Baha and Al-Mudaraba is an appropriate ground for completing the treatment of the thorny issues of “revenges” and “lands.” .

 Governor Turki praised the efforts of the security campaign leader, Brigadier General Hamdi Shukri, in establishing security and stability in the Al-Mudaraba and Tur Al-Baha districts, pointing out that it is everyone’s responsibility to maintain this security achievement.

Both the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Zaouri, and the Deputy Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training, Mr. Abd Rabbuh Ghanem Al-Muhali, stressed the unity of the class and reunification and the necessity of activating the role of the committees and moving to the implementation stage.

The meeting resulted in consensus on the following points:

- The joint security campaign continues its tasks in the districts of Tur Al-Baha, Al-Mudaraba and Ras Al-Ara, led by Brigadier General Hamdi Shukri.

- The “Revenues” and “Lands” committees must prepare a general vision for the treatment and draw up a code of honor within ten days to discuss it in the upcoming expanded meeting of military leaders, sheikhs, and the heads of the Sabiha tribes in general, held on November 18, 2023 AD.
