The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, represented by His Excellency the Minister Major General Salem Abdullah Al-Soqatri, is keen to encourage farmers and expand the area of ​​agricultural land, towards increasing local production in various crops, based on its work plans and programs aimed at providing food for the population.

This was confirmed by the Director General of Marketing and Agricultural Trade at the Ministry, Engineer Muhammad Thabet Al-Nashili, explaining that these steps taken by the Ministry are met with irresponsible published statements from some media outlets, without investigating the accuracy of the information and verifying its relevant sources in the Ministry.
