Israeli newspaper: A number of Houthi leaders were killed in unknown air strikes

The Hebrew newspaper "Maariv" quoted an Israeli security source as saying that a number of Houthi leaders were killed in Yemen by mysterious bombings from the air, considering that they were "dropping like flies."
The source said, “The Houthis suspect the presence of spies in their ranks, which led to a large wave of arrests in Sanaa in recent days.”
He added, "The targeted Houthi leaders were killed as a result of air strikes while they were traveling on the roads by a mechanism that is still unclear."
The Israeli source stated that “their identities and numbers are not yet known.”
In turn, the Wall Street Journal said, “The Houthi leadership in Yemen has moved to underground compounds and avoids using cell phones, for fear of an Israeli attack.”
The newspaper added, “Militia leaders frequently change their positions and take increasing precautions, against the backdrop of Israeli threats to eliminate senior leaders.”
Israel had threatened the Houthis with death after successive missile and drone strikes.
Military Intelligence "Aman" announced the recruitment of several dozen Yemeni Jews who are fluent in the Yemeni dialect to help infiltrate and target the Houthi leadership.
Israeli defenses intercepted Houthi drones that attacked Israel last Thursday from several directions.
