The Transitional Council discusses the economic crisis with its government ministers and confirms its support for citizens’ demands

The Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, President of the National Assembly, Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, today, Sunday, at the Assembly’s headquarters in the capital, Aden, chaired a leadership meeting that included the Council’s political team and the Council’s ministers in the government to discuss the difficult economic and living conditions and ways to support the rights of our southern people in... Providing his basic needs and his right to a decent living.
The meeting stressed that the Southern Transitional Council supports all the human rights demands of the people of the South, which are expressed by the Council and the southern civil forces to remedy the collapse of services, the deterioration of living conditions, the lack of salaries, and the collapse of the currency, in light of the paralysis of state institutions and the absence of the government and the Leadership Council from performing their role.
The meeting stressed the need for the state and its institutions to play their role and bear their full responsibility towards the people and meet the human rights demands that essentially represent their basic and necessary needs for a decent living, stressing its full support for the demands of the southern civil forces and the southern trade unions.
