The security services in Taiz Governorate announced that they thwarted the smuggling of weapons to areas controlled by the Houthi militia.
The media center of the Al-Aqroud Front said that the front's security points were able to thwart the smuggling of a number of various weapons and ammunition that were on their way to Houthi-controlled areas.
The commander of the Aqroud Front, Colonel Muhammad Al-Eid, confirmed that this operation is not the first that the security points on the front were able to thwart, indicating that the operation was carried out thanks to the high sense of security and vigilance enjoyed by the members of the security points on the front.
He explained that the weapons were seized during careful inspections of vehicles at one of the checkpoints of the Front Command, noting that the vehicle loaded with weapons and ammunition was seized while heading to areas under the control of the Houthis.
He pointed out that investigations will be completed and the necessary legal measures will be taken against them.
