A very cold air mass will hit Yemen in the coming hours

Yemeni astronomer Adnan Al-Shawafi predicted that a very cold air mass would descend, affecting most governorates in the coming hours.
He said that the data and numerical maps of the models indicate expectations of the expansion of the Siberian high air towards the Arabian Peninsula, which indicates the descent of a cold to very cold air mass that will affect most of the Yemeni regions, including mountain highlands, plateaus and internal deserts.
He stressed that most of its effects are concentrated in western Yemen on the highlands, mountain basins, and internal plateaus.
He stated that its effects begin with a gradual decrease in the minimum temperature from Monday evening - Tuesday dawn, January 14, 2025 AD, reaching the point of frost, especially at the end of the week from Wednesday to next Friday, January 17, 2025 AD. Then the relative effects continue for a few days until about Monday, January 20, 2025 AD.
