The Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center at the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology warned that our country would be affected by a severe cooling wave, according to satellite images and the outputs of various global numerical models.

In its 72-hour warning bulletin, issued this evening, Tuesday, the Center expected a noticeable drop in temperatures accompanied by extremely cold weather and the formation of frost, with temperatures, especially felt ones, reaching 0 C° in the governorates of (Dhamar, Sana’a, Amran, Al-Bayda and Saada).

The center also expected that temperatures would reach less than 5°C in parts of the deserts and internal plateaus of the governorates of (Al-Mahra, Hadramaut, and Shabwa), while cold to very cold weather would prevail in the rest of the regions, especially during the night and early morning.

The Weather Forecast Center issued a warning to fellow citizens of the extremely cold weather, and that they must take the necessary precautions, especially children and the elderly, as well as to fellow farmers, beekeepers, and livestock breeders in the above-mentioned areas from the drop in temperatures, and that they must take the necessary preventive measures to protect their property. .
