The Qishn District Security Department was able to arrest one of the most prominent drug dealers in the district, in possession of a large quantity of narcotic substances, after careful follow-up and continuous monitoring of his movements. The operation resulted in the seizure of a quantity of the narcotic substance “Shabwa” packed in small bags ready for sale, in addition to 283 Captagon pills (pure), a digital scale, cutting and packaging tools, and two mobile phones, in addition to cash amounts in local currency.< /p>
The Director of the Anti-Narcotics Department in Al-Mahra Governorate, Major Arif Saeed Askari, praised the security efforts made by the Qishn Security Department, which demonstrated the high vigilance and security sense of its employees.
Major Askari stressed the importance of cooperation between security agencies in combating drugs, pointing to the role of the Qishn Security Department in reducing criminal activities related to drug smuggling and drug promotion in the governorate.
Major Askari expressed his thanks and appreciation to the local authority in Qishn District, the leadership of the Security Department and its officers and individuals, for their continued support and efforts to enhance security and stability in Al-Mahra in particular, and the country in general.
At the end of his statement, he praised that these achievements come in light of the support of the local authority in Al-Mahra Governorate under the leadership of His Excellency Governor Muhammad Ali Yasser, and within the framework of cooperation and coordination between the security authorities led by the Director General of Security and Police in the governorate and the security and military units, praising the local authority’s support for security efforts. He called for the continuation of this cooperation to achieve more successes in combating drugs and maintaining the security of the governorate.
