A member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, met this Thursday evening with the US Special Envoy to Yemen, Tim Lenderking.
During the meeting, they discussed developments in the humanitarian, political and military situation in our country in light of the continued terrorism practiced by the Houthi militias against civilians in areas under their control, and their continued unjustified terrorism in international shipping lines and the repercussions that these attacks have had on the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the country. In this regard, Major General Al-Zubaidi reiterated the importance of a serious and unified international position to deter Houthi terrorist behavior supported by the Iranian regime.
Al-Zubaidi noted, in his meeting with the American envoy, that the strikes launched by the American and British forces to destroy the military capabilities of the militias are not sufficient and will not achieve tangible results unless they are implemented within a comprehensive strategy in the various military, economic and political aspects in which all local, regional and international efforts combine.< /p>
