As a culmination of the efforts of the political leadership represented by Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, flights will resume at the end of this month between Al-Rayyan airports in the city of Mukalla and Cairo in the Arab Republic of Egypt after a hiatus that lasted about 10 years.
The leadership of the local authority in Hadramaut, represented by His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi, thanked His Excellency the President for his interest in activating this airline, which represents one of the most important airlines and a bridge of communication for citizens, investment, and the development movement.
The Governor of Hadhramaut, Mr. Mabkhout bin Madi, continued to follow the resumption of the “Al-Rayyan - Cairo” flight to alleviate the burden on citizens, and considered it a priority for tasks directly related to citizens and the development and investment movement.
Yemenia Airlines announced the date of the flight, starting on January 26, 2025, with the launch of the “Al Rayyan - Cairo” flight and continuing every Sunday of every week.
The return flights “Cairo - Al-Rayyan” begin on January 31, 2025, and continue every Friday of every week.
Director of Yemen Airways, Mukalla Branch, Walid Filhoum, expressed his thanks for the efforts of the Governor of Hadhramaut and the leadership of the Ministry of Transport, Yemen Airways, Civil Aviation and Meteorology in preparing and following up for the success of the resumption of this important flight for citizens, the economy and the investment movement.
