Local sources in Al Dhalea Governorate reported that the two children, Sami Nasher Ali Mohsen and Bayan Omar Musaad Qasim, drowned in a water tank in the village of Qarawat Muris, north of the governorate.

Sources confirmed that the accident occurred today when the two children entered the water tank in the area to play, before they drowned in the large basin that contained a large amount of water, and the bodies of the two children were found shortly after the accident.

Residents of the area rushed to the site immediately after the accident occurred, where the bodies of the two children were recovered and taken to the nearby hospital.

Despite attempts to save them, their death was painful and sudden for their family and the people of the village.
