The armed Houthi group claimed that it bombed vital targets in the city of Eilat, south of the Israeli occupation, with four winged missiles, and that it bombed, with three drones, Israeli targets in the occupied Jaffa region.
The military spokesman for the armed group said that his group carried out “specific operations” in Jaffa, Ashkelon and Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) and against the American aircraft carrier “Truman” in the northern Red Sea with drones and winged missiles.
Yesterday, Thursday, the leader of the Houthis, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, announced that his group would accompany the implementation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, while continuing to be prepared for military support in the event that Israel reneged on the agreement.
In a televised speech broadcast by the group’s Al-Masirah channel, Al-Houthi said, “Our position regarding the situation in Gaza is linked to the position of our brothers in the Palestinian factions, and we will continue with them in the implementation phase of the agreement (which begins) next Sunday.”
He added, “We will continue to keep pace with the stages of implementing the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, and in any Israeli retreat or massacres and siege, we will be immediately ready for military support for the Palestinian people.”
He continued, “Our military operations will continue in support of the Palestinian people if the Israeli enemy continues its genocidal massacres and escalation before implementing the agreement.”
Regarding the total attacks of the group supporting Gaza, Al-Houthi said, “We have carried out 1,255 operations, including ballistic, winged, and hypersonic missiles and drones, in addition to gunboats,” since November 2023.”
Al-Houthi considered that “the military operations to support Gaza had a high level of progress, and it was clear that our operations in missile bombardment and naval operations escalated, until they reached a decisive result, thanks to God.”
