The Houthi group announced on Saturday night that it had targeted the American aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and a number of its warships with winged missiles and drones.
The military spokesman for the Houthis, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, said in a statement: “The unmanned air force, the missile force, and the naval forces of his group’s forces carried out a joint military operation targeting the American aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman and a number of its warships north of The Red Sea with a number of drones and winged missiles.”
Sarie confirmed that “the operation had successfully achieved its objectives,” noting that “the American aircraft carrier was forced to leave the theater of operations.”
Last Friday, the Houthis announced attacking Israeli targets in Eilat, Jaffa and Ashkelon with missiles and drones, in addition to targeting the American aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman in the northern Red Sea with a number of drones.
