This morning, Mr. Abdul Rahim Jawi, Director General of Al-Mualla District, launched an inspection campaign for quality and safety standards for foodstuffs with judicial officers from the Trade and Industry Offices, represented by Khaled Al-Kabbab, Director of the Industry and Trade Office in Al-Mualla, and Environmental Health, represented by the Department Director, Hani Hazza.

The committee conducted an inspection tour of the food stores of wholesale stores to determine their expiration period, in addition to inspecting their quality and safety standards for storage.

Al-Jawi praised the level of commitment of merchants in their stores to standards of storage, cleanliness, and safety, and their keenness on the importance of consumer protection. The leadership of the local authority in Mualla looks forward to more solidarity from all relevant parties, to achieve a common goal, calling on them not to be complacent and negligent in such campaigns.
