A court in Aden closes a case filed by teacher “Nisreen” before her murder

On Sunday, a court in the capital, Aden, closed the file of a case filed by teacher Nisreen Adeeb before she was killed by her husband, in which she was demanding a divorce from her husband due to her exposure to continuous violence.
Human rights and journalistic sources reported that the judge announced the dismissal of the case as a result of the death of the plaintiff, who was killed last week by her husband in a crime that sparked widespread anger in the city.
During previous court sessions, teacher Nisreen had presented evidence proving that she was exposed to violence and constant threats from her husband, including an attempt to intimidate her by placing a hand bomb at the door of her house, which the neighbors discovered and were able to neutralize. However, no ruling was issued in her favor before her death.
Last week, the husband committed his crime when he intercepted a school bus carrying the teacher Nisreen with her students on the 90th line in the Mansoura District, where he shot and killed her and then fled, which sparked a state of public anger and demands for his arrest and accountability.
