The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman comments on the release of the crew of the Galaxy ship

The Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, Badr al-Busaidi, commented on the Houthi group’s release of the crew of the Galaxy ship who had been detained for more than a year.
He said in a blog post on the “X” platform: “We are pleased to confirm the release of the crew of the Galaxy Leader ship and their safe arrival to the Sultanate of Oman.”
He indicated that “their number is 25 individuals from 5 countries (Bulgaria, Mexico, the Philippines, Romania, and Ukraine).”
The Minister of Foreign Affairs thanked everyone who contributed to achieving this achievement, whether in Yemen or elsewhere.”
He said, “Even in difficult times, sincere collective efforts can achieve significant gains. The Sultanate of Oman will always support such initiatives in the spirit of dialogue, mutual trust and partnership.”
The Houthi group announced yesterday the release of the ship’s crew following Omani mediation, which arrived in the capital, Sana’a, the day before yesterday.
