A process was carried out to destroy approximately (319) cartons, each weighing (25) kilograms, of cheese flavor (raw materials) used in the manufacture of puff pastry, and others, bearing the country of origin of the Arab Republic of Egypt, in the presence of representatives of the General Authority for Standardization and Metrology. And the operations of the capital, Aden, and the Prosecution of Industry and Trade in Aden, and the Office of Industry and Trade, and Health and Environment in the Office of Works, after confirming the expiration of the product, according to the report of the Standards and Quality Control Authority.

In turn, Counselor Majid Al-Taweel, Director of Legal Affairs at the Security Belt Forces, confirmed that these quantities of cheese flavor were seized after they were returned from areas under the control of the terrorist Houthi militia, as a result of the proximity of the expiration date, which was confirmed by the Standards Authority’s examinations that the product It has expired.

He explained that all necessary legal measures had been taken to ensure that these materials did not reach the markets, noting that the destruction process took place in accordance with applicable laws, and in coordination with the competent authorities.
