Environmental Health in Mansoura withdraws and destroys 116 thousand pieces of “Lol” cakes that are not fit for consumption

Under the directives of Brother Ahmed Ali Al-Daoudi, Director General of the Mansoura Directorate, and under the supervision of Engineer Raafat Al-Kawkati, Director of the Directorate’s Works Office, the Environmental Health Department withdrew and destroyed approximately 4 tons of “LOL” cake products that violated health standards and were not fit for human consumption.
In a special statement, Brother Hassan Abdulaziz, Head of the Environmental Health Department, explained that the technical inspection teams carried out a field visit to the warehouses where “LOL” cake products are stored, where it became clear after careful examination that these products are not fit for human consumption.< /p>
He added that the entire quantity has been withdrawn from the warehouses, and procedures for its destruction are being completed in accordance with applicable procedures and regulations.
For his part, Brother Mahmoud Al-Maflahi, Deputy Head of the Environmental Health Department in the Mansoura Directorate, stated that the technical teams confirmed after examination that the stored quantity of “Lul” cake was not fit for human consumption, indicating that the total quantity amounted to 3,200 cartons, equivalent to 116 One thousand pieces of cake, of Saudi origin.
Al-Muflhi added that the Environmental Health Department in the Directorate withdrew the entire quantity and began the procedures for its destruction, as it was transported to the “Bir al-Naama” dump in the Buraiqa District to be destroyed permanently in accordance with the regulations and licenses in force.
In this regard, Brother Aziz Othman, Public Health Inspector and member of the specialized inspection team, confirmed that later in the afternoon on Thursday, January 23, the entire quantity was destroyed in the “Bir al-Naama” dump, in the presence of the concerned authorities, while ensuring that The destruction process is completely completed.
