Amman witnesses a lively meeting... European Union ambassadors confirm their support for the Central Bank of Yemen

In an important meeting held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, the ambassadors of the European Union member states affirmed their continuous support for the Central Bank of Yemen and its relentless efforts to achieve monetary stability and strengthen the banking sector.
This confirmation came during a meeting of the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen, Mr. Ahmed Al -Ma'bi, with the ambassadors of the European Union, where ways to enhance joint cooperation were discussed and the wheel of economic development in Yemen.
European ambassadors stressed the importance of the central bank’s role in maintaining the stability of the Yemeni economy, noting that their support comes within the framework of the European Union’s keenness to help the Yemeni people overcome the economic crisis that it suffers from.
For his part, the Governor of the Central Bank expressed his thanks and appreciation for the continuous support provided by the European Union to Yemen, stressing that this support contributes greatly to strengthening the efforts of the central bank to achieve financial and critical stability.
Al -Mu’abi explained that the central bank is working hard to implement a set of economic reforms aimed at improving economic performance and enhancing the attractiveness of investment in Yemen.
